Baptism
1st Church of God celebrates baptism several times a year. Baptism is an act of obedience after believing in Christ that shows publicly your faith in Jesus. We baptize by immersion throughout the year. Many come to share in the celebration. It’s a glorious event.
Sunday School

At 1st Church of God, we have the ability to offer a variety of Christian curriculum to both engage and educate tomorrows Christians. We will have programs from pre-k all the way up to High School. All of our teaching staff will have current background checks and a passion for teaching God's word to children
Funeral and Memorial Services
Whether in our lovely sanctuary or offsite, our staff will have just the right words to say to compfort you in your time of loss
Local and City-Wide Prayer Groups

1st Church of God is proud to support and be involved in several city-wide prayer groups right here in Reno. We also hold an evening prayer event every other month for those that need it. Communion
Jesus taught that we should remember Him regularly by taking Communion. We believe that it is a very important and meaningful part of the Christian life. We celebrate Communion at 11am on the first Sunday of Every month. Please Join us.
